Ocala has many events and activities for horse owners,
breeders, and those who enjoy these magnificent animals.
As the Horse Capital of the World, Marion County has more
than 1,200 horse farms representing almost all equine breeds
and disciplines. This three-session course includes the
following topics: Ocala’s horse history, Ocala’s horse breeds
and equine superstars, and the World Equestrian Center
Peruvian horse show.
