Farmed Fiber Fest

Curious about natural fibers and plant dyes? Spend the day of exploring the world of locally sourced color and fiber at GJF! This immersive program will feature hands-on workshops including natural dyeing (make and take your own hand-dyed silk scarf), stinging nettle fiber processing, and a guided hike to identify native fiber and dye plants. Additional activities may be added as details are finalized, making this a rich day of learning and creativity.

Age Range: This program is best suited for adults and teens 12+

Cost: $40 per person for a full day of workshops. Pre-registration is highly encouraged.
