🌿 Weekend Overview:
Day 1: Climb Ben Nevis via the Mountain Track (17 km, 8-10 hours, hard)
Day 2: Hike to The Lost Valley (4 km, 2-3 hours, easy/moderate)
Details on meeting point will be in confirmation email upon booking.🏔️ Day 1 – Ben Nevis Summit Challenge
We’ll kick off the weekend by tackling Ben Nevis via the Mountain Track (also known as the Tourist Path). Starting from the Ben Nevis Visitor Centre, the trail gradually ascends through zigzags and rocky paths as we make our way to the summit. Standing at 1,345m, Ben Nevis offers breathtaking views over Loch Linnhe and the surrounding peaks, if the weather is kind!
🏔️ Day 2 – The Lost Valley Exploration
After our summit adventure, we’ll enjoy a gentler but equally rewarding hike to The Lost Valley (Coire Gabhail) in Glencoe. This hidden valley, steeped in history and legend, is so peaceful and magical. The route follows a rocky path through scenic landscapes, crossing a wooden bridge and climbing gently into the valley. It’s the perfect way to stretch our legs and reflect on the weekend’s journey.
