Family Saturday: Cyanotype Workshop

Join us at Oakville Galleries in Gairloch Gardens on Saturday, August 30 for a free, family-friendly art activity!

Discover the magic of sunlight and creativity! In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore the cyanotype process, an early photographic technique that uses sunlight to create striking blue-and-white prints. Using natural materials, found objects, and light-sensitive paper, you’ll experiment with composition and contrast to produce one-of-a-kind botanical or abstract images.

Perfect for all ages, no experience needed.
Drop in style workshop - show up anytime between 10am and 2pm!

Please note: Caregivers and children create artwork side by side, supervision is the responsibility of the caregiver. Additionally, we have limited attendance numbers at one time for this program and instructors reserve the right to close admission if the Education Centre is at capacity. Attendees may be asked to come back in 15 minutes.
