About the event

THE SCHOOL Bay Area Premiere Event
Join us for the Bay Area premiere of the film "The School: The Legacy of Hintil Ku'u Cǎ". Directed by award-winning director Mike J. Marin, this film traces the origins of the first urban Native child development center through oral history interviews.

The event will open with traditional hand drum songs and a dance exhibition, followed by the film and a panel discussion with founders, teachers, and former students of Hintil. Hope to see you there!
