Pride & Juneteenth Celebration Picnic

This event is not just a celebration—it’s a statement of unity and a commitment to uplifting and protecting our diverse community.

Everyone is welcome—this event is open to all!
You do not need to be an ACS member to attend. Whether you're a longtime member, a friend, family member, or part of the broader community, we’d love to celebrate with you.

• Fun and engaging trivia about Cal ACS, Juneteenth, and PRIDE (plus a few surprise topics!)
• Exciting prizes for trivia winners
• Delicious food and refreshments provided
• Networking opportunities with fellow participants
• Scenic picnic setting under towering redwoods
• Located just across from a swimming pool and fishing dock

📍 Map: Roberts Regional Recreation Area

We have reserved the Huckleberry Picnic Area at Roberts Regional Recreation Area in Oakland. The site features:

• Reserved benches and picnic tables (you’re also welcome to bring your own chairs!)
• Located just 300 ft from the parking area—easy access, no long walk required
• Clean, flushable restrooms nearby
• Shaded setting beneath majestic redwood trees
• Dogs are welcome on leash

• Food and non-alcoholic refreshments will be provided
• We will have some beer and wine available
• Feel free to bring your own beer or wine
• Note: Hard liquor is strictly prohibited by the park

Feel free to express yourself and show your PRIDE! Wear colorful, expressive attire that reflects what PRIDE means to you.
