The city of Oakland dubbed May 17th PHIFE DAWG DAY almost a decade ago to honor his life and connection to the Bay Area during the final phase of his life & contributions to HIP-HOP music & culture. We honor this day and continue to acknowledge the immeasurable contributions he made to the artform.
