Maryland Libraries Together Discussion - "Free For All: The Public Library" Screening

Learn how public libraries shaped the country and continue to be a sanctuary for Americans everywhere. Watch Free for All: The Public Library at a screening on May 21st at 5:00 PM at the main library (Oakland), and then participate in a community-driven discussion about the documentary.

Free for All: The Public Library tells the story of the quiet revolutionaries who made a simple idea happen. From the pioneering women behind the “Free Library Movement” to today's librarians who service the public despite working in a contentious age of closures and book bans, meet those who created a civic institution where everything is free and the doors are open to all.

Wednesday, May 21 @ 5pm: Free For All: The Public Library Screening @ Ruth Enlow Library's main branch in Oakland.
