Hand Embroidery Workshop

Come get cozy and creative at this beginner-friendly hand embroidery workshop hosted by artist and stitcher Kevin Tijerina at Shop Mira Flores! Whether you’ve never picked up a needle before or are looking to revisit the basics, this class is the perfect intro to the meditative, colorful world of hand embroidery.

In this two-hour workshop, you’ll learn 3–5 foundational embroidery techniques to help you confidently begin your own stitching journey. From thread selection and hoop setup to decorative stitching styles, Kevin will guide you through each step with care and encouragement. By the end of the session, you’ll have the skills—and the start of a beautiful project—to continue working on your own at home.
