Children’s Book Reading and Signing

Join us for a special book reading and signing event at Marcus Books, the nation's oldest Black-owned independent bookstore.

Local children’s book author, Channa Bannis, will be reading and signing copies of both her self-empowerment books for children, and we'll have activities for the kids.

Her new release, Daddy Is Not Listening!, explores emotional self-awareness from a child's and a parent's perspective. Her debut book, I Love The Me I See, focuses on building self-love, love and learning and aspirations in young minds.
