29th Annual HBCUC Family Day

Calling all HBCU students, HBCU Alumni and friends/supporters of HBCUs: Join the Northern California HBCU Alumni Associations Coalition (HBCUC) for our 29th Annual Family Day: Same Vibe. Different Yard. Come out and represent your school as we celebrate, fellowship, and party on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 11am-4pm at Middle Harbor Shoreline Park (2777 Middle Harbor Road, Oakland).

Admission is $15 per person (ages 13 and up) and $5 per child (ages 12 and under). The nominal price helps to cover the costs of the event and will help us fulfill our mission of awarding scholarships to current HBCU students from the Bay Area. Highlights include:
*** Catered lunch: Noon-1:30pm only
*** HBCU Fashion Show (Make sure you wear your most stylish 'nalia in order to rip the runway)
*** HBCU Alma Mater Singing Contest (It has to be sung BY HEART, so memorize those lyrics in order to earn the trophy and bragging rights)
*** Field Day Games for the family
*** Card games: Spades, Bid Whist, Tonk, and more
*** Line Dancing
*** Ms. Odell’s Commemorative Cake + Watermelon Walk
