Panhandle Greenway III: Info Session & Open House

Join Allegheny Land Trust to learn more about the 30-acre Panhandle Greenway Conservation Project and tour ALT's Historic Walker-Ewing Log House.

ALT staff will be on-site to introduce themselves, give a summary and current status of the Panhandle Greenway Conservation Project, and to help guide visitors through the log house. As it's an informal session, attendees can come anytime between 4:30-7 pm.

SUMMARY | Allegheny Land Trust is working to conserve 30 acres of green space in Collier Township. The land is adjacent to Settlers Cabin Park and located within the rapidly-developing and flood-vulnerable Robinson Run Watershed.

BENEFITS | The land’s permanent conservation would benefit the health, well-being, and enjoyment of current and future community members by preserving biodiversity, air and water quality, and local scenic character as well as creating connections and protected opportunities for close-to-home passive recreation and environmental education.
