Silent Reading

Silent reading is just what it sounds like—a cozy time to gather with others, grab a favorite drink, and enjoy reading quietly together. Bring your current book, magazine, e-reader, or even a notebook if you’d like to journal.

We’ll start by settling in, ordering drinks, and chatting for a few minutes. Then, we’ll spend about an hour reading in companionable silence. It’s a perfect chance to unplug, make progress on that “to be read” stack, and enjoy the comfort of good company (without the pressure to socialize).

We stop serving up drinks at 5:30pm, please come early to get your favorite chai, latte or hot chocolate. You do not need to sign up for this event, just bring your favorite book and find a spot that makes you comfortable!
