This Sunday’s walk will be local and flexible. We intend to head out of the village towards Smeeton and turn left at the canal. We’ll meander along to Wistow, where there will be the option for coffee and then a walk across the fields back to Fleckney, which is 4.5 miles.
If you would like a more traditional FWC Sunday walk, there is an option to take in Kilby, which would be 6 miles.
If you want more, it is a pleasant walk across the fields from Kilby to Arnesby, then back to Fleckney, which is 8.5 miles.
I am happy to go any distance, and we can split up, as long as there are at least two in each group and at least one knows the way back!
Bring a drink and packup if you would like the longer option.
Maximum of five stiles, some minor undulation, zero mud at present, and the weather forecast is good.
