KAHORI KAMIYA: Sacred Threads

Perry Lawson Fine Art is pleased to present Kahori Kamiya: Sacred Threads a solo exhibition featuring paintings and sculpture by Kahori Kamiya a Japanese-born artist now based in Rockland County NY. Raised in a culture that infuses daily life with spirituality she draws from Japanese traditions that honor the natural world ancestral rituals and the unseen forces that connect all beings. Her multidisciplinary practice—including sculpture painting video and performance—is also deeply influenced by motherhood exploring themes of nurture devotion and the cyclical nature of existence. Sacred Threads run through her work in both concept and form linking personal experience with ancestral wisdom and bridging the physical and spiritual realms.

This exhibition will be on view May 24 through July 13 2025.
