The Navesink Brass Band

On Saturday, August 9 at 2:00 PM, the Nutley Public Library is pleased to present a special concert featuring the Navesink Brass Band, a seasoned professional brass quintet that has been captivating audiences since its formation in Red Bank, NJ in 1992. Comprised of two trumpets, French horn, trombone, and tuba, the group brings a lively blend of virtuosity and camaraderie to every concert.

Their repertoire is remarkably diverse, spanning refined classical masterpieces swinging jazz and Dixieland favorites, rock and Broadway tunes, stirring patriotic marches, and festive holiday music. They also keep things fresh with modern arrangements of popular songs. Whether performing at libraries, community events, tree-lighting ceremonies, or performing arts centers, each performance is crafted to entertain, inspire—and often encourage a toe-tapping sing-along.
