Laurie Allen’s Benefit Ride

We are doing a benefit ride for my husband’s step mother September 6th 2025 at Novinger City Park. Sign up at 2 ride starts at 3. $25 a rig, there will be a 50/50 drawling at the end of the ride as well as a free will donation supper.

--Back Story—
Laurie has been diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. Her team of doctors said she will have to go under a six week plan of radiation everyday, 5 days a week, chemotherapy 2-3 times a week. After 5 1/2 weeks they will do another MRI and see if the tumor has shrunk enough to operate and remove it. If it hasn't they will finish the 6 week plan, and decide what the next plan of action will be. For the next 6 weeks starting August 4 my father in law (her fiancé) will be driving her back and forth to Columbia for her radiation/chemo 5 days a week. A little over 200 miles/ 4 hours for 20 minutes - an hour of radiation/Chemo. At this time my Father in law has taken off work to help take care of her. So all proceeds will go to Laurie’s medical bills and every day bills.
