V soboto, 31. maja bomo praznovali konec še ene čudovite in uspešne plesne sezone naše skupnosti in vabimo vas, da se nam pridružite. Ob 19h lahko ujamete kratek plesni nastop, za pravo plesno sladico pa se bo treba povzpeti na teraso bara Klub Teater, kjer nas bodo štirje Matjaži iz skupine Flat Hats v svojem ritmu vrteli v noč.

Mariborski Gipsy Swing / Jazz Manouche band Flat Hats igrajo zimzelene kompozicije iz zlate dobe swinga in šansona, lastno izvirno glasbo in priredbe pop pesmi v swing stilu. Svojo izvrstnost so med drugim izkazali na Mariborskem swing festivalu ter Graškem swing festivalu, festivalu Panonni accordion. Leta 2018 so izdali prvenec z naslovom gypsy swing, katerega posebnost je da je bil posnet na en sam mikrofon, kot se je to počelo v zlati dobi jazz manoucha.
Vabljeni vsi odplesat v en čudovit večer! ✨️

Join us on Saturday, May 31st as we celebrate the end of another wonderful and successful dance season in our community! At 7 PM, catch a short performance by our dance groups. Then, for the real dance treat, head up to the rooftop terrace of Klub Teater, where the band Flat Hats will swing us into the night.

Flat Hats is a Gypsy Swing / Jazz Manouche band from Maribor known for their evergreen tunes from the golden era of swing and chanson, original compositions, and pop song covers in swing style. They've wowed audiences at the Maribor Swing Festival, Graz Swing Festival, and the Panonni Accordion Festival. In 2018, they released their debut album Gypsy Swing, uniquely recorded using a single microphone—just like it was done in the golden age of jazz manouche.
