“The Mesmerists are a foursome led by Nottingham music mainstays Timothy J Simpson and Alex “Slim” Lee on guitar. For this gig the group have gathered a set of their favourite blues, country and folk tunes together that keep it simple - drawing on universal themes of love, booze, death, work, pain and joy – as well as showcasing some of their own compositions where Tim entertains the angels and devils that straddle his own shoulders”
