Born in Congo. Raised in South Africa. Sharpened in Canada. jev. is the voice of the misunderstood a LONER who turns emotion into art and isolation into fuel. His music blends soul, storytelling, and cinematic production, cutting through with lyrical precision and raw vulnerability. jev. carries a global perspective in both life and sound. His music a fusion of alternative hip-hop, classic rap, soul, and R&B is experimental, emotional, and boundary-pushing. It’s for the outsiders, the wanderers, and the ones still searching for themselves, the LONERS. His viral hit “Where’s the Confetti?” earned him over 40 million streams and catapulted him from working retail to landing Spotify and Apple Music covers, performing in front of thousands, and being featured on billboards in Toronto. Still independent, still different, jev. is building a movement rooted in one message: "don't blend in, it's okay to be different"
