We had so much fun last year, we are doing this again!
Join us for another scenic cruise through the Eastern Shore of Maryland. We will meet in Nottingham, MD and cruise north to a second meetup in Elkton. Then we will head down the Eastern Shore, through Chestertown and Centreville to St. Michaels / Tilghman Island.
Highlights will include the scenic drive, crossing the Tred Avon River on the Oxford Bellevue Ferry ($20), and ending with a group dinner at the Chesapeake Landing restaurant near St. Michael's.
This event also includes the option for an overnight stay and additional group activities on Sunday before heading home. We are planning to meet in the morning in Cambridge and drive through the Blackwater Wildlife Refuge and Hoopers Island. We will have lunch at the Boats and Hose Restaurant on Slaughter Creek. Meetup location and time will be posted on a separate event in the future.
I need a firm headcount in order to arrange the final details of the trip for restaurant reservations. Please do not just mark yourself as going. Comment on this post with the number in your party and if you plan to stay overnight and join Sunday activities also.

A group reservation will be made once we have a firm headcount. Please bring cash, if possible, for dinner to make it easier for the restaurant to accommodate us if they can't do separate checks.
The Ferry costs $20 for one car and driver. Passengers cost an additional $4.
The cruise from Elkton to Oxford is approximately 2 hours. We will spend a little time in Oxford before taking the Ferry across to Bellevue. Bring some snacks and drinks for a lite lunch on the water before our group dinner.
