SHADOW PUPPETS AND BODY LENGUAGE/TEATRO DE SOMBRAS Y LENGUAJE CORPORAL.

The participants will listen a some poems about animals and nature.
The main objective of this workshop is to expose kids to performing arts and storytelling.
-The kids will learn how to make their own puppets and project them on a screen.
-The kids will use their own movement to explore and give life to the puppets projected on the screen.


Workshop Directions
1-Warm-up
2-Read the poem Landscape.
3-Chose one of the elements from the poem.
4-Draw your element on a paper sheet and cut it out.
5-Think about how you will give movement to your element.
We will each have a turn to go behind the screen and make our elements come alive through shadows!
