We’re excited to share that the South Norwood Storywalk will have a fresh new read: The Adventures of Mustang Sally: Sally Goes to School by Peter Jeneid.
Come say hello to Mustang Sally, Norwood High School’s beloved therapy pup, who will be joined by Norwood Police Department’s Officer Baguma. You’ll also have the chance to meet the book’s author, NHS student Peter Jeneid, snap a photo with Sally and Officer Baguma, and even purchase your very own copy of the book to take home. This is a wonderful way to enjoy the Storywalk, share some Norwood pride, and support a talented local author.
The book will be featured on the South Norwood Storywalk for the entire month of September, so if you can’t make it to the meet-and-greet, feel free to stop by anytime to enjoy the story at your own pace.
With the pool construction now complete and the Hawes parking lot reopened, the Storywalk is easier than ever to visit. Come enjoy this back-to-school story while taking a stroll through the Endean Trails. To access the Storywalk, park in the Hawes Pool parking lot (1305 Washington St) and follow the gravel path to the entrance of the woods, where the Storywalk stretches over ¼ mile and 18 storyboards.
