In partnership with Norwood Conservation Committee, Morrill Memorial Library is excited to host Kate Donovan of Blackstone Valley Veggie Gardens to present an in-person talk titled "Canning, Freezing, Dehydrating" on Monday, August 18 starting at 7:00pm in the Simoni Room.
Did you get way too much production from your garden this year? No problem! We'll show you the easiest and best ways to preserve it! Each of the three methods we cover--canning, freezing, and dehydrating--will preserve your garden goodies for a year or more.
About the presenter: Kate is a Master Gardener who lives in Blackstone and has been helping clients grow food sustainably and organically through lectures, garden planning and development since 2016. Kate considers her home as her horticulture laboratory and tries new varieties and techniques every year.
