Yare Valley Yomp

Something different this time. A little walk along the Yare Valley to whet the appetite.
Starting at Stand BP, St Stephens Street Norwich catch the 11:55 no 37 Firstbus to the Marsh Harrier. After a little wet one to warm up we will stroll along the Yare Valley through Marston Marsh to Eaton, no more than 2 miles. An easy riverside path with great views over the valley. There is a walk along the road for the less adventurous..
At Eaton we have Waitrose cafe, The Red Lion and the Cellar House. There is a regular bus from the stop opposite the Red Lion or more at the top of the slope on Newmarket Road opposite Elveden Close. There are several places to stop on or near the route for further refreshments.
If we want to be even more adventurous we can get off the bus at the Oak Tree and walk through the woods to the Marsh Harrier, can be decided on the day.
