Get together with your family and friends to remember your special person at our annual Walk of Smiles. This year we have two brand new walking routes, you can choose from either a 2 mile or a 2.75 mile and then join us at the finish line where there will be fun activities for all the family to get involved with!
WHERE: The Octagon Business Park Grounds, Little Plumstead, Norwich, NR13 5FH
WHEN: Saturday 14th June 2025 10am-2pm
10am - 10.50am - Arrival, registration and time to grab some refreshments or play on the fete games.
10.50am - 11am - We take some time to remember.
11am - 12pm - The walk commences. Non walkers are welcome to stay at the Octagon Park and enjoy the activities. Guests are welcome to walk the route anytime until 1pm however our marshals will only be available on the route between 11am and 12pm
12pm - 2pm - Join in the family fun afternoon
WHO: This event is OPEN TO ALL, not just those who have used the services of Nelson’s Journey. Well behaved dogs are welcome but MUST be kept on a lead.
PRICE: Pre-booked general entry £3.50 (£5 on the day) - under 3s go FREE

ACCESSIBILITY: The 2 miles walk is accessible to most pushchairs and mobility scooters, however due to some uneven terrain this may restrict access to guests in wheelchairs.
SPONSORSHIP: All walkers are invited to raise sponsorship for Nelson’s Journey, this will help us continue our work supporting children and young people who have experienced a bereavement.
