reDiscover David Lynch: Lost Highway (18)

Part of David Lynch's Dream Theatre, a year-long tribute to an artist from another place.

Hounded by mysterious VHS tapes and plagued by violent visions, jazz saxophonist (Bill Pullman) is suddenly framed for the murder of his wife (Patricia Arquette) after a bizarre encounter at a party.

The mystery deepens when the man vanishes, only to be replaced by a young mechanic with a completely different life, but one which may overlap with the musician’s fears.

Our monthly screening of a Lynch masterpiece will also be paired with one film cited as an inspiration. Lost Highway will be paired Vertigo (Sun 7 Sep, 16.00)
