About the event

Let's Talk Fermentation!
Aleksandra Britten from Britten's Botanicals will talk on this ancient method of food preservation, focusing on lactose-fermentation its health benefits and energy efficiency. You will have a chance to taste sauerkraut and other fermented vegetables, will see the demonstration of both dry and brined methods. We will discuss how fermented foods can be incorporated into daily diet and why home made options are so much better.

Having grown up with ferments and being an avid fermenter Aleksandra has been delivering Fermentation and other workshops all over Norfolk for two years now. All of her workshops are designed to enhance the partnership between humans and nature through tastes, skills and knowledge.
