Flow State: Somatic Yoga & Art Session

Join Lou & Floyd for a creative and relaxing afternoon. We'll find mindful presence through Somatic Yoga practice, where we allow the body to move without a fixed form, inviting freedom and fluidity.

We take this flow of exploration to the art table, for an intuitive painting session. Starting with a simple exercise where we literally use paint to draw the breath. Throughout we let go of expectations, allowing ourselves to express this fluid awareness on to paper and canvas.

The whole afternoon will have a playful, curious energy, where nothing is expected, and expression encouraged!

You will be guided at every stage by Lou & Floyd, with no experience in either somatic work or painting required.

Sunday 1st June, 1.30-5.30pm, Capitol House, £46

Lou is a Yoga teacher and therapist, who loves helping people find ease and joy in their body, especially through somatic practises.

Floyd has a background in the graphic and design industry, he’s now using a variety of creative techniques to help people discover and explore their inner artist.
