Norwich Arts Centre presents a series of Edinburgh Fringe preview / work-in-progress shows from the best new comedians.
Change of line-up. Lorna Rose Treen has been replaced by Pat Cahill.
Pat Cahill: St Julian’s Social Club (Work in Progress)
I have recently counted my friends and was found wanting. So, I’ve invented several more, and gathered them at everyone’s favourite municipal function space, St Julian’s. Come along for some mulled coffee, free singing and group noises. Absurd standup, songs, characters, dances and nonsense.
“Wonderfully weird” – The Guardian
***** (BroadwayBaby.com). **** (Metro). **** (Timeout). **** (Skinny). **** (Fest).
Luke McQueen: Comedian’s Comedian (Work in Progress)
This is a show about AI, creativity, failure, ideas, self-reflection, and self-sabotage. Luke is the guest on a podcast where he’s scripted both the questions and the answers. But as the conversation unravels, so does his grip on the narrative.
Unpredictable, experimental. Work in progress. Mistakes will be made. Some on purpose.
