To celebrate local, interesting music, The Holloway now hosts regular Diving Deep Sessions. Each session will start off with an interview, a support act and, after coming up for air, a live session from the headline act themselves.

Janani.fx

As a Tamil person with roots in Jaffna, Sri Lanka, born in Berlin and later living in Norwich and London, Janani’s sense of displacement forms an integral role in the music. Janani.fx’s powerful set incorporates experimental soundscapes with gritty vocals. Amongst her mesmerising, authentic delivery is a fusion of genres and influences. The result is compelling, with big bass, hypnotic rhythms and poetic lyricism. 

Kirakira

Kirakira is a multi-instrumental singer/song-writer grown in Norwich. In the space between bedroom-pop heartache and white-rabbit indie dreams, she finds beauty in the drone of the mundane and floats in the idyll of ambience.
