Beyond the Page: Poetry and Presses

East Anglian poets Ramona Herdman, James McDermott, Jenny Pagdin, and Julia Webb take the spotlight in this special showcase celebrating the acclaimed independent publisher, Nine Arches Press.

Nine Arches is renowned for publishing some of the most exciting voices in contemporary poetry, with titles nominated for prestigious awards including the Forward Prizes, T.S. Eliot Prize, Michael Marks Award, Polari Prize, Laurel Prize, Jhalak Prize, and more.

Enjoy live readings from Ramona, James, Jenny, and Julia, and gain behind-the-scenes insight from Nine Arches publisher Jane Commane, who will compere the evening and discuss what makes an outstanding poetry collection.

This event also marks the first public reading from Julia Webb’s new collection, Grey Time.
