YOUTH MONOTHON
(AGES 11 – 18)
Limited to 15 Participants
Spend a Sunday making your own art with master printmakers!
What is MONOTHON? It's a unique annual fundraiser named for the “Marathon of Monotypes.”
Each year the Center for Contemporary Printmaking in Norwalk hosts MONOTHON: a two-part celebration of monotype printmaking and CCP’s largest fundraising effort. Held annually in September-October, MONOTHON kicks off with a Print Week: a whirlwind of creativity completely engulfing the Center’s studios. A selection of monotype prints created during Print Week is then included in our Benefit Auction and Party a month later.
Teen and Tween artists get their own MONOTHON session on Saturday, October 5th hosted by CCP’s staff printers. It’s a fun day of play to close out our Print Week!
- All skill levels welcome.
- Materials and lunch will be provided.
- Participants make up to 10 monotype prints each.
- Participants will have one print selected for inclusion in our Silent Auction on November 1.
