Scouts & Soldiers: Native American Partners in Colonial Victory

The Norwalk-Village Green Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), in collaboration with the Norwalk Historical Society, presents Drew Shuptar-Rayvis, an Algonkian living historian!

This engaging interactive event brings history to life through stories, demonstrations, and activities:

• See and learn about crucial woodland and combat tools of the 18th century
• Learn about wilderness survival skills from long ago
• Explore the important alliances between Native peoples and European settlers that shaped the outcome of the American Revolution
• View the meaningful wampum belts that symbolized these alliances
