National Tap Dance Day Celebration in Norwalk!

Join us in celebration of Bill "Bojangles" Robinson's birthday AKA National Tap Dance Day on Sunday, May 25th in Norwalk on the Norwalk Town Green!

FREE TAP DANCE & LIVE MUSIC! All ages / family friendly event!

11:30-1 PM - Join us by the gazebo for an all levels, all ages, FREE community tap class taught by Kelly Kaleta and Alexis Robbins. We will warm up, learn some fundamentals, and learn a short routine that you can choose to perform in the 2 PM show with live music! You don't need to own tap shoes to join the fun!

2-3 PM - FREE SHOW & JAM SESSION WITH LIVE MUSIC! We will have the incredible Jocelyn Pleasant on drums, Christie Echols on bass, and Robert Codio on keys. Special performances by Corey Hutchins, Kelly Kaleta, Alexis Robbins, Wolfpit Integrated Arts School students, community members, and more! There will be plenty opportunity to jam and of course join us for the Shim Sham Shimmy, BS Chorus, and more magic!

Bring the whole family! Make sure to bring blankets and chairs to relax when you're not dancing, and snacks/picnic vibes!
