Cooking with Herbs and County Fair Prep

Kelley Georgiafandis, the Mrs. of Mr. G’s Produce Stand on Arlington Road in Norwalk will talk about Cooking with Herbs. She’ll be bringing plants and dried herbs for an herbal guessing game and seasoning quiz. And we will have plant sale plants to give away to everyone in attendance.

Rachel Caudill, Senior Fair Superintendent of Department No. 17, Foods, will tell us all about the different Open Class categories available to us to enter and win some recognition and cash. Show off your homestead skills by entering anything from baking, canning, gardening, sewing, antique collections and more!

Women Homesteaders of the Firelands Get Togethers are FREE to attend for ladies 16+ (breastfeeding babies welcome).
We leave the fellas and the kids at home and the politics at the door. We're here to focus on the skills!
