This month we are pleased to have Sarah Webb, a Client Care Coordinator at Comfort Keepers, joining us to speak on the following topic:
Elevating the Human Spirit: Bringing love and JOY to your loved ones and those who give support
We focus on Mind, Body, Safety, Spirit: engaging all these specific needs to a person individually. We meet each person at their level, learning their “likes” and “wants” and “needs” before we start our care. As we are coming into your home, we use our manners and treat you and your home with respect. We provide companionship in a loving and caring way. We often become “just like family”. So, imagine what you would like and need, if you are recovering from surgery, are suffering from a debilitating disease, have memory issues, low vision, hard of hearing, and perhaps dying. We will care for you until your last breath with comfort and JOY.
About Your Speaker:
Comfort Keepers, are a leading provider of In-Home Care. Their focus is to provide support to families and their loved ones, bringing support and JOY to their clients and their families. Comfort Keepers was created by a nurse 28 years ago, while she visits her patients, she saw the need for one-on-one care including a fresh hot meal, a shower, medication reminders, light housekeeping, transportation, errands, shopping, care for pets and so much more. She saw that patients need people, companionship, conversation, support and love. She created Comfort Keepers with a mission: to provide their clients with care just as we wood care for our own family.
Sarah joined the Comfort Keepers Franchise Team, almost 22 years ago, as support to their locations here in the area. Comfort Keepers has 29 locations in Michigan, and are Nationwide, in Canada, and overseas in the United Kingdom, France, New Zealand and growing. Through Sarah's support as Client Care Coordinator, she has the privilege of going to people’s homes and preparing a Plan of Care and assigning a care team to help with a client’s needs from A to Z, in their own home, wherever home may be.
