This week Meraki Minds, Isobel Caldwell and Sunny Morris are stopping by for a show.
Weird, wholesome and eclectic; Meraki Minds are your favourite indie-pop band sweethearts. Ballarat born and Melbourne-based, Meraki Minds make anthems for those in the post-coming-of-age inertia. They’ve appeared on RAGE, played regional festivals and even won their local battle of the bands once. Electric stage presence, jangly guitars and dreamt vocals are Meraki’s jam.
Isobel Caldwell is a Naarm based musician writing meditative songs delivered with introspection and wit. Their debut album Duty of Care (2022) garnered love from listeners, a Folk Alliance Australia 2023 AFMA People’s Choice nomination, and the high praise: “your album was the soundtrack to us moving to the country”. A multi-dimensional artist, her sound is described as “smooth as butter and warm as toast” (Trouble Juice).
Sunny Morris is a trans musician and writer based in Melbourne. Following the success of her album You're A Liar, Girl, which featured as RRR's Album Of The Week, Sunny has played shows with artists such as Stella Donnelly, RVG, Snowy Band and more.
