Legendary underground institution, Checkerboard Lounge, deliver a dynamic, soulful well of emotion and playful abandon in collective improvisation over classic blues, soul and originals. Drummer/vocalist Carl Pannuzzo, guitar master Shannon Bourne, & Hammond virtuoso Tim Neal curate shows fitting to events and venues - no two shows being the same. Their extensive touring schedule has seen them play gigs & festivals in most Australian states, as well as in New Zealand. Semi-finalists at the 2020 International Blues Challenge in Memphis TN, they recorded an album at the legendary SUN Studio - and their latest release - "Roller Coaster" is available on vinyl as well as CD.
