Northside band Dakini Cuddle host a night of live music that is right up the alley of folks who love organic, soulful but experimental music done with a virtuosic twist.
Sharing the stage with like-minded bands who represent the same type of energy, they bring you an evening of meaningful soul-centered, RnB, jazz, funk music to move your mind, body, heart and soul to; bonus points if we achieve all 4, that's when we really get it going..
Now don't keep this on the downlow, share it around with your friends. This is a night where everybody can sing!
Starting off the night is neo soul dream child The Seeding, coming fresh from the Northern Rivers, this duo is unstoppable. Mixing their activism with their virtuosic musical abilities, the couple create deeply moving music.
The Seeding is made up of Conor Alexander, jazz pianist extraordinaire and Mia Bloom, a fierce songstress and impressive vocalist that now plays drums in the project too.
Their journey started in Newcastle but now can be found living in the beautiful lands of Bundjalung Country, Northern Rivers.
They're only visiting for a week so don't miss out!
Following is Social Street. A 9 piece neo-soul/rnb group hailing from all corners of the state. Lush harmonies, catchy hooks, and soulful grooves are PROMISED at their live shows. Spearheaded by Liam and Grace, the band have been playing in the Melbourne music scene since early 2019. Come for the vibes, stay for the tunes, and feel the love this group radiates!
Last but not least is Dakini Cuddle to finish off the night. DC started in 2024 and is the neo soul future funk jazz project of Tyla Moonchild, Rory Wilson, Gabe Coleman & Oliver George.
The band creates music with an alchemical depth that is still easy going and electrifyingly groovy. This is music that makes you feel alive!
Channeling the likes of Erykah Badu, Nai Palm & Georgia Anne Muldrow, Tyla sings like how her music is written. Intended to cut through and make you feel. As lead singer & guitarist of the group, she is known for her vivacious tone & impressive freestyle flow. The rhythm section Rory & Oli- always hold it down and are so irresistible to watch. These two are both from The Blue Mountains & funnily enough went to the same schools. Gabe Coleman, barely in his 20's, is already an integral member of the Music Scene here in Melbourne and plays well beyond his years.
Together, this band does not disappoint, infact, every show they play is new and has a different fines.
This gig, we'd like to collect $5 from every ticket sold and give it to Pay The Rent. Pay The Rent is a Non- for- profit that works directly with First Nations People. Here is more information on the program:
