We’re proud to have The Lincoln Noel Trio as our ‘house band’, and it’s no surprise they’re a guest favourite. Lincoln’s unique ability to engage with the audience both during and between performances brings a personal touch that transforms a great show into a truly memorable experience.

About The Ark
The Ark is Northampton’s first and only boat venue, brought to life by the late Jack Patel. Inspired by the River Nene, Jack envisioned a boat as the ideal spot to bring people together. After 8 years of planning and a tough year of construction, The Ark was finally completed in 2014. The result is a stunning white barge, featuring a dining area, bar, front deck, and an open-air top deck.
And yes, it's a real boat!
It's been 10 years since The Ark 'docked' at Midsummer Meadow, and visitors frequently ask if the boat is real. The answer is yes, it’s a genuine boat floating on the river. Thankfully, the waters are calm, so the boat remains stable!
Though the boat was Jack's vision, the cafe and events are run by his daughter Hema, whilst his his wife Charlie serves as the chef, bringing the best Indian food in town to the table.
The Ark is where it began for Flamingo Jazz Nights in 2024 and we're pleased to continue this partnership bringing jazz to the town's best kept secret!
