𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗜𝗡-𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣 – Barre, Boogie & Breathe

𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣 – This class will start with dynamic stretching and a dancey warm up, followed by some fun dance games. The second half of the class we will focus on barre fitness, which will strengthen the core, support body awareness, while enhancing stabilization and balance.
𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝗔𝗠𝗬 𝗗𝗔𝗪𝗡 𝗞𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗟 – Amy Dawn Kotel has been studying and teaching dance and fitness since the mid-1990s. She is a body positive, all-age-inclusive, amusing, kind, and supportive trainer, responsive to her clients needs and goals.
Amy works with clients of all ages and abilities. Her specialties include clients ages 45-100, those who have been injured and have the ok from their doctors to resume exercise, postpartum mama’s, and fitness phobes. Amy tunes into her clients, co-creating workouts that gently, joyfully, and safely push them to their personal fitness edge. She does this all while sharing all her health /fitness knowledge, so they can find some autonomy for their health and fitness future. I will appreciate you as you are matter how big or small. I am clear you are beautiful and worthy as you are.
• As long as you are willing to put in the effort, I can offer you measurable changes to your fitness level, strength, and abilities.
• I can offer you what I offer myself; a challenging workout based on your body’s current abilities and strengths. Your workout will be delivered with kindness, humor and encouragement, as I gently help you rise to your next level.

In addition to my over 25 years of experience in fitness and dance I hold a number of certifications from various disciplines that will help me create a workout that is JUST RIGHT FOR YOU!
• Through my Master’s degree in Education from Lesley University, I learned how to tailor workouts based on different learning styles.
• I minored in Dance for my undergraduate degree from SUNY New Paltz, NY
• I am certified K-12 in dance through the Department of Education in Massachusetts.
• I have been certified through Holyoke Community College and AFFA as a Personal Training
• I am certified in Barre Fitness, TRX, Pilates Mat, Active Older Adult Fitness, Aqua Aerobics, K-12 Dance, Ageless, Qi Gong Infused Yoga, Group Fitness Instruction, while specializing in Myofascial Release Rolling , and conscious eating and body awareness.
• I believe life-long learning is essential for my own growth as well as the growth of my clients.
In addition to everything above, I hope you will want to work with me because we will have a whole lot of FUN!!! I get this over and over from the humans I am blessed enough to work with. People laugh when we work together.
