Mindfulness, Dharma, and the Healing of Our World

"Taking your seat, both literally and metaphorically, is a non-trivial, embodied assertion of the lawfulness and undeniable actuality of interdependence, and therefore an intrinsically meaningful political act. It is also one that translates into taking a stand for and actually embodying, to whatever degree possible, an orientation of non-harming, compassion, wisdom, and wise action/engagement. It cannot be practiced in isolation, as we are never really alone. We are essentially whole, and at the same time, embedded in larger and larger circles of wholeness and belonging.
