The 6th Annual THUNDERBOWL benefiting the Thomas Makhoul Scholarship Foundation will be taking place at Hampton Lanes,
in Northampton, PA.
Before we get into it....
It’s incredible to see how far we’ve come. What once felt like a dream has become a powerful tradition — and that’s because of you. Pulling off an event like this isn’t easy, but your support, passion, and belief in our mission have made it not only possible, but truly impactful. Over the last six years, this event has grown into something bigger than any one of us — it’s created real change in our community and brought people together in ways we never imagined. Watching it grow has been a joy and an inspiration, and it’s all thanks to you. Your commitment has made this a success, and for that, we are endlessly grateful.
New addition to this year: if you would like to advertise your business logo on the back of this years t-shirt, the cost would be $100 or $150 to have your business displayed on a banner at the event. This is a great opportunity to showcase your business in so many ways. Please reach out if this is something you or your business are interested in.
Ok lets get down to it:
You all know the deal we will be having a bowling tournament consisting of teams of 4. Entry fee of $240 total (same as last year) per team with t-shirt and rental shoes included. The event will start at 12pm, but please arrive at 11:30am to get setup. The bowling alley consists of 24 lanes, so spots are limited.
24 lanes = 24 teams!
Tentative Rules: (the format might change, but only slightly, with possibly having more teams advance...tbd)
Round 1: Each team will play a total of 2 games; Teams will play 2 games and the total of each game will be noted; Teams paired up in a lane do not play against each other; We are taking the total of 2 scores as your main score; The Top 8 highest scoring teams will proceed to Round 2.
Round 2: The Top 8 teams will then be playing one on one against each other; Highest scoring team from Round 1 will play the lowest scoring team from the Top 8; One game each will be played; Four teams will proceed to Round 3.
Round 3: The top 4 teams will be playing one on one against each other; One game will be played; The winners of each set will proceed to finals.
Round 4: Finals, 2 teams will be playing against each other.
There will be a limit to how many teams can sign up, so please let us know as soon as possible.

In addition to the tournament, we will also be having basket raffles and a 50/50 raffle. If you have a business or are looking to donate a gift basket, gift card, or any kind of service, that would be greatly appreciated.
