The 6 week content for the Tango fundamentals course is designed and targeted for anyone from absolute beginners right through to anyone looking to brush up and revisit their key foundation and technique. Classes will consists of a 1 hour lesson followed by a 30 minute Practice, the 6 classes will cover:

Recap & “Praticlonga” week 6 and we have a social night for getting together, socializing with your new found Tango friends and practicing what you have learned in a setting that is as close to a social tango dance night as you can get without any pressure! and gently dipping your toes into this wonderful scene!
This course is designed to get you started on your Traditional Tango journey, with an easy to digest and progressive teaching style, by week 6 you will be dancing all the above sequences with plenty of practice time at the end of each class (it is called a “practica”), with This course is also designed for any level of dancer who wishes to build on their foundation/technique, we aim to give your tango a targeted boost towards socially dancing tango.
Tailored Tango was founded by Darren and Zoe Taylor, Tailored tango, Midlands Alternative Tango , El Cuarto Sabado ( the 4th Saturday), Tango Northampton. They have groan from humble beginnings into a vibrant hub for Argentine tango LOVERS.
Darren : With over 18 years of teaching experience and a dynamic background in Ceroc including Tv appearances in the iconic Trafalgar Square, medal -winning performances,
Darren brings energy, expertise, and flair to every class. Darren also D.J's traditional Tango sets at his own events and all over the country and Greece.
Both Darren & Zoe teach and lead dual roll, they can lead and follow which has really enhanced their classes and workshops.
Zoe: has been teaching Tango for 15 years with a keen eye and extensive knowledge as she started dancing when she was 8 years old starting with ballet and modern dance then Ceroc. Zoe has taught at numerous weekenders over the past 10 years as well as travelling all over the country to play her alternative tango music most of the time just one night. Zoe has also D.J's for her own Alternative Tango nights, she has D.J'd at weekenders.
Formerly know as Tango Northampton, Tailored Tango offers more than just weekly classes. We specialise in immersive Weekenders, private lessons, Workshops run by them but also being invited all over the country to teach, wedding dances, Hen parties. They also run monthly events in Lutterworth which includes our signature Best of Both Worlds two- room Milonga night, held on the 5 Saturday of a calendar month
