Death Cafe for Dying Matters Awareness Week in Thirsk

Thursday 8th May, drop in 11am - 1pm. No booking required.

Organised by Hambleton and Richmondshire Specialist Palliative Care team and Herriot Hospice Homecare.

This Death Café, marking Dying Matters Awareness Week (5-11 May), is for like-minded people coming together to talk about death and death-related issues. There is no fixed agenda. Just bring yourself and enjoy some tea and cake.

Along with people across the country, we are helping break down stigma and taboos on death this Dying Matters Awareness Week. We’re offering a safe space to express any emotions, share your thoughts and ask questions.

The theme is "The Culture of Dying Matters".
