Danby Wiske Bonfire and Fireworks display is run by the volunteers of the Danby Wiske village hall committee. It has been running for over 40 years. Everyone is welcome.
It’s a proper community bonfire night. We have a great bonfire and a brilliant firework display. Each year we ask for donations on the gate (£4 adults, £2 children), which along with any money taken for food and drinks helps pay for the fireworks.
We have lots of food on offer. Lovely burgers and hot dogs, soups, hot chocs, tea, coffee, soft drinks, cakes as well as our world famous toffee and choc apples!
Bonfire lighting: 6.30pm
Fireworks: will be lit from approximately 7.15pm

Parking: if it’s dry then we hope to open the event field at the Church End of the village. If not then there will be some parking on the road side and by the village green.
