PIN, CIRCULAR & FRAME LOOM WEAVING AM July 28-Aug 1 with Carol Patton

Instructor, Carol Patton, has been weaving on a variety of looms for 18 years. Carol is a retired from Wilkes Co. Schools with 38 years of experience and currently teach weaving classes at both Sawtooth and WAG.

Students can look forward to learning the basics to do tapestry weaving art on both picture frame and hoop looms. Create wall hangings, dream catchers or pictures using a variety of yarns and fibers.

Pin Loom Weaving instruction will teach students how to weave squares and rectangles with yarn on small hand held pin looms. Students can turn their woven pieces into creative items such as scented sachets, bookmarks, animals or crazy creatures.

This morning class session is for rising 5th graders through 8th graders.
