Taras Luka FREE Show

The music of Vancouver-based Ukrainian jazz and classical accordionist and composer Taras Luka is an exciting fusion of contemporary jazz and pan-Latin styles. His band features fantastic players, including Dean Thiessen on piano, Daniel Howard on bass, and Jamison Ko on drums. Luka has worked extensively as a composer and music director for theatre, while his “Choral of Freedom” for symphony orchestra, choir, and soprano, has been performed by Victoria Symphony Orchestra.
This show is part of BlueShore at CapU's North Shore Jazz, presented in partnership with Vancouver International Jazz Festival.
