About the event

6th Vancouver Classical Guitar Festival 2025

The Vancouver Classical Guitar Festival is back July 17-20th at Capilano University with a star faculty including festival favorites Marc Teicholz and Michael Kolk. Founded and directed by Luis Medina and now in its 6th year, the festival is a unique opportunity for guitarists of all levels to take in 4 days of masterclasses, workshops, guitar ensemble, two faculty concerts and so much more.
The 2025 faculty includes Marc Teicholz, former GFA winner and currently with the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and Michael Kolk, one of Canada’s finest classical guitarists and recently appointed instructor at Vancouver Community College plus Luis Medina, David Sossa, Alec Pearson, Tejay Liao, Louise Southwood and Lucida Zhao.
